Title:  Part-Time Medical Doctor - Regional Hub Jakarta

OVERVIEW

Role Purpose

Provide medical consultation and healthcare support to Regional Hub Jakarta staff members and their eligible dependents. The role also supports medical claims, coordination with local providers and preventive health activities in accordance with applicable Indonesian requirements and professional standards

Key Responsibilities

• Provide medical consultation, assessment, diagnosis, treatment, prescription and referral within the scope of a valid Indonesian medical licence and registration.
• Review and clear claims submitted by medical service providers and medical reimbursement claims submitted by IsDB staff members.
• Coordinate with local medical providers to arrange pre-employment and periodic medical examinations for Regional Hub staff members.
• Coordinate medical contracting processes involving hospitals, clinics, dental service providers and pharmacies.
• Review and clear sick leave requests in coordination with the IsDB Health Services Centre at Headquarters, when required.
• Provide medical advice and support to staff members and their eligible dependents, coordinating with local medical providers as needed.
• Arrange preventive health initiatives, including CPR training, vaccination programs, medical awareness campaigns and healthy lifestyle activities.
• Perform other duties necessary or complementary to the assignment.

ACADEMIC AND PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATION

• Bachelor of Medicine or Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree or an equivalent recognized medical qualification.
• Qualified General Practitioner with a minimum of three years of relevant clinical experience.
• Valid medical license, professional registration and required professional certification or authorization to practise medicine in Indonesia.

Skills and Necessary Knowledge

• Health insurance management and medical claims review.
• Healthcare management and general medical practice.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the handling of confidential medical information.
• Good computer skills and accurate record keeping.
• Proficiency in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
