The Internship Program at the IsDB aims to provide undergraduate and graduate students, along with recent graduates, with real-world experience while exploring IsDB's operational areas. It allows them to work in a specific Business Unit to gain practical experience related to their academic studies. The IsDB Internship Program is intended to achieve the following objectives:

Location and Duration

  • The IsDB Internship is available at its HQ in Jeddah and 10 Regional Hubs and Center of Excellence
  • The duration of the Internship Program is a minimum of three months and a maximum of six months.

General Requirements:

Applicants for the Internship Program must meet the following requirements:

  • Be enrolled as Undergraduate or Graduate students pursuing a university degree or have graduated within a maximum of one year from the date of application.
  • Be currently enrolled in, or a graduate of, top universities in the world and member countries
  • Current students must provide an official request or recommendation from their universities requesting the internship.
  • Have not previously undertaken an internship at IsDB, with a cumulative duration exceeding the maximum allowed period of 6 months.
  • Maintain a cumulative GPA of at least 3.5 on a 4.0 scale or its equivalent.
  • Are legally authorized to stay in the country of the Hosting Business Unit.
  • Candidates must not exceed 30 years of age by the application deadline.

Selection Criteria:

The following selection criteria shall be assessed in the interview for acceptance into the internship program:

  • Relevant coursework or academic background related to the internship position and Bank operations.
  • Good knowledge of the subject.
  • Demonstrated interest in the field or industry of the internship.
  • Willingness to learn, take on responsibilities, and contribute to IsDB as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Availability to commit to the internship program for the specified duration.
  • Proficiency in the English language
  • Agreement to adhere to the Bank’s policies and code of conduct.
